Alleged forgery - Three PDP chieftains for prosecution


The Federal Ministry of Justice has recommended the trial of three top members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State over alleged forgery. The recommendation by the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, followed a petition to the police headquarters, by Hon. Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi, representing Udi/Ezeagu Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, dated July 6, 2015.

Speaker, 20 Rivers Lawmakers sacked by Tribunal



The National and Legislative houses of Assembly election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja has nullified the election of the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly and 20 members of the house.

They are all members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). There are 32 members of the House of Assembly and with the sack of 21, only 11 members will be left.
