Khloe Kardasian is inconsolable as she rushes to Lamar's bedside

Lamar Odom's estranged wife Khloe Kardashian has been described as 'inconsolable' as she dashed to Las Vegas to be at his bedside.

Just hours before her ex-husband was discovered unconscious, she had been posing for a sultry lingerie shoot in Beverly Hills.

Her best friend Malika Haqq was seen arriving at 3:30 p.m. on set, before Khloe left the shoot at 4:30 that afternoon.

The 31-year-old immediately went to the hospital in Las Vegas with her sister Kim and mother Kris Jenner.

Odom married Khloe in 2009 after a whirlwind romance, but by 2013 she had filed for divorce.

It came after the pair seemed to be spending less time together and there were rumours he had cheated.

In August 2013, the Kardashian Kollection designer kicked him out of their house and he started living with friends.

However, it was recently revealed that the pair have remained in touch since separating.

In a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe was caught exchanging flirty messages over the phone with her ex-husband.

Khloe also flew in Lamar's father so he could be close to him as well as his children Destiny and Lamar Jr.

There's no word whether Caitlyn Jenner will visit her former son-in-law. She was in Kennewick, Washington earlier this week to visit her mother who recently broke both hips.

Kris Jenner posted a photo of Lamar on Instagram on Wednesday, writing; 'Please pray for Lamar.' 

Rob Kardashian also shared a photo of himself and Lamar, writing; 'Praying nonstop for my brother.' 

It was supposed to be a celebratory week for the Kardashians as well reports E! News, as Kim's baby shower was planned for this weekend.

She has now cancelled the event which had a Troop Beverly Hills theme  and was to be hosted by friend Allison Azoff.

Azoff is the same friend whose family hosted Khloe and Lamar's 2009 wedding at their Beverly hills estate.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson was one of Odom's many visitors on Wednesday and spoke to reporters outside the hospital, saying that doctors he spoke to say Odom is recovering - an account which drastically differs from those of other sources.

'Apparently from what the doctor said, he was much better off today than yesterday. He at least has some responsiveness now,' Jackson said. 'He's got tubes in him now but we felt inspired by his presence.'

'We're just holding hands and hoping he can bounce back,' Jackson added.

However, sources told TMZ that Jackson was only let in to pray next to Odom for three minutes and that he was 'flat-out wrong' about Odom's condition.

The tragedy began to unfold when Odom visited legal brothel Love Ranch Vegas in Pahrump, Nevada alone on Saturday. Witnesses say he seemed 'lost'.

A source told Daily Mail Online: 'He was all freaked out about Khloe, fixated on her. He was showing the girls photos of them together and wanted to pour his heart out, he wasn't there just for sex, he needed a shoulder to cry on, companionship. He seemed lost. 

'It's not uncommon for celebrity clients to come in to unwind and have a girlfriend experience, they feel they can come here without being watched or followed.
