Who stole and returned the meat?
We were playing in front of our house when my mummy's sister went to steal from my mummy's pot of soup. She was meant to watch over the pot and keep the house clean including all entrances to the house but she stole the meat and hid it in a plate so she will eat the meat later.
My mummy had traveled and asked her strict brother to take care of us and when he noticed that there was a space in the pot of soup he summoned every body and threatened to invite the idol of his village to come against anyone who was guilty of the theft. He took time to explain how the idol would make the person ill and cripple for ever.
Suddenly, we saw one of my brothers walking towards the kitchen with the pretense that he wanted to drink water. We let him go and later he informed my uncle that he saw a rat and that the rat suddenly dropped a lump of meet in to the pot.
My uncle went to the kitchen and discovered that the meat had been returned but he announced that we will not have dinner considering that there is Lassa Fever, we will have to throw away the pot of soup so no one will get infected and while he was preparing to throw away the pot of soup, my brother that had returned the meat started crying and when we pressured him to say what the problem was, he confessed that he caught my mummy's sister stealing the meat but that she threatened to beat him up if he spilled the bean but that does not want to lose his dinner so he had to.
