Many who already have their BVN who have not gone to their various banks to link their accounts to their Bank Verification Number were seen going to do that at their various banks to enable them carry out their desired transactions on such accounts.
Investigations show that the customers are well aware of the implication of the BVN and bank staff are seen at various points in their respective banking halls educating customers who claim not to understand why their accounts have been blocked.
As at last week, several banks sent out messages to their customers warning them that their accounts will be barred if they are not BVN compliant by October 31, 2015.
as at Sunday, the Spokes Man of Central Bank of Nigeria, Ibrahim Muazu said that denial of access to non- BVN compliant accounts had already gone in to force.
