Bureaux de Change Operators must provide BVN - CBN

The CBN has said that the Bank Verification Number, BVN, requirement for foreign exchange transactions posed no security risks to the bank accounts of those purchasing forex.

Following the expiration of the deadline given by the Central Bank of Nigeria to  Bank customers to comply with the directive on BVN on October 31st 2015, Commercial bank customers were who have not complied to the BVN directive could not access their accounts today.
