Breaking News: Senate President's application dismissed in Lagos

 

A Federal High Court in Lagos dismisses the application by the senate president seeking to stop his trial in Abuja.


Justice Ibrahim Buba holds that the court lacks jurisdiction to hear the application. 

The court holds that issues cannot be resolved in Lagos as the actions took place in Abuja. 
 
The Senate President sued the AGF, EFCC, ICPC and others with a view to stopping his investigation, arrest prosecution before any court.

Senate rejects monthly stipend for the unemployed
