Man kills mother in Jos

A middle aged man, Bravo Kunde, said to be a junior staff in a branch of an old generation bank in Jos, in the early hours of yesterday, allegedly murdered his 80-year-old mother in cold blood.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Emmanuel Abuh, confirmed the incident which occurred at Jenta Mangoro community of Jos North local government area.

An 18-year-old boy, Benjamin Sunday, has been charged before a Lagos High Court in Ikeja for allegedly stabbing his senior in school, Gbenga Adigun, whose corpse was found on the decking of a building.
The defendant, who lives at No. 4 Haruna Street, Ifako area of Lagos, was alleged to have stabbed Adigun with a broken bottle during a fight, after both of them returned from Africa Shrine.
