KJ: I will not marry you
Bidi: You will marry me
KJ: Why should I marry you?
Bidi: Because I am carrying your baby.
KJ: whose baby?
Bidi: Your of course
KJ: You lie.
KJ had been dating Bidi for a while and they had been having issues with trust. KJ had accused Bidi of not being faithful. He had caught her in a compromising position with one of his friends in a Guest House.
Bidi has also been accusing KJ not being faithful because she says he cannot satisfy her even after a long break from s*x.
Each time they exchange words over faithfulness it ends in a fight.
recently, Bidi informed KJ of her pregnancy insisting he is responsible but KJ would not accept responsibility.
It was very difficult for neigbours to prevent a fight and KJ eventually inflicted Bidi with a head injury.
Consequently, Bidi went to the police insisting KJ is the father of her unborn child.
They met in a school where they had gone for a course and fell in love. KJ had proposed to Bidi two years after they met and they had agreed on a wedding date before KJ lost his job. This made it difficult for the wedding to hold as KJ could not afford the wedding bills so they opted to do it at a later date. The later date came and nothing happened because KJ could not secure another job.
KJ had been going through a lot trying to pay his bills and Bidi had her job and resources intact but she had refused to give KJ any assistance instead she comes to spend time with him from to time without any form of commitment or care instead she makes him satisfy her sexual demands and goes away with the excuse that she is waiting for him to secure another job and marry her.
KJ is afraid of marrying a woman who would not help in sharing in the responsibilities of the family. He had tried to explain to her that he needs a friend and not just a wife, that he needs a woman who can see him as her own and treat him with love just like he would treat her but she sees it differently. She feels it is the man's responsibility to provide for the family in all circumstances and this has made KJ to start reconsidering his decision to marry her.
In his heart, KJ sees Bidi as a fair-wheather-friend who cannot be trusted in worse life situations. Again he suspects she was only attracted to him because of his money and previous status as a high flyer and not his love and life or wellbeing.
At the moment they are both at each others throat over the pegnancy and KJ seems unperturbed by Bidi's threats.
